Good morning everyone. Apologies for the rant last night. It was late and the message I was sent just hit a nerve. In the past month, I have learned such a valuable lesson. We really do not know what individuals are going through on a day to day basis. I think we all take it for granted that everyone is just ticking along, or is fine, or okay. When in actual reality we have no clue. I know this from personal experience. As a result I'm trying to be much more aware of how I can impact a persons life, whether it is on purpose, or just a knock on affect from my actions. There's a severe lack of empathy and respect in today's world. I believe everyone should be given the same level of respect to start out with, and then their own actions will alter that level, whether it gets higher or lower, it's their choices. Empathy however, I believe is a much more important emotion in today's world. I now will not ever assume anyone is okay, and will try to check in on my family and friends more often, and to everyone who is not okay on atw, feel free to reach out and vent, rant or whatever you need. Having an outlet is important. Suffering in silence is a really lonely, and dangerous place. I know from my own experience that sometimes it is easier to talk about your feelings/problems,life to a total stranger than to close friends or family.
Have a lovely day everyone.
